This diffusing glass uniformly diffuses incident light and has characteristics similar to Lambertian light source. It has higher diffusivity than frosted glass. The milky white color is not due to the opal coat, but from the glass itself. Another feature is transmittance can be adjusted by changing the thickness.
With thinner thickness, it can be laminated with Tempax to provide more strength.
New UV transmitting opal diffusing glass is under developing.

Wavelength calibration filter (Holmium filter) ＜IRE005＞A filter with absorption at various wavelengths.
It is used for wavelength calibration of liquid analyzers such as liquid chromatographs (HPLC).
Traditionally, mercury was used for calibration, but due to the toxicity of mercury, liquid holmium began to be used as an alternative.

Light balancing filter ＜ILA, ILB series＞ILA is a filter that lowers the color temperature. It is used to convert the color temperature of the light source and adjust the color temperature of the photographing light.
ILB is a filter that raises color temperature. It's B-R conversion capacity is -90 and is used to convert the color temperature of the light source and adjust the color temperature of the photographing light.

Neutral density filter ＜IND series＞It is designed to have flat spectral transmission over the entire visible range, used as visible cut,IR transmission filter.
It can uniformly reduce the amount of light in the visible range, so it can be used as a filter for adjusting the light amount of a camera. It is ideal for adjusting (reducing) the amount of light when photographing under intense light such as the sunlight. For astrophotography such as solar eclipses, etc, this filter allows you to open the aperture and lower the shutter speed.
